Dr. Robert Woodard, II, D.C.

At a young age, Dr. Woodard’s mother was involved in a near fatal auto accident. It was then during hi s observation of the medical specialists and treatments where he saw Chiropractic stand out. The treatments provided by her Chiropractor afforded her more pain relief than all others. It was further clarified with sports related injuries of his own, successfully treated with Chiropractic, that he elected to pursue a career within the profession. With the success that he and his mother received, he now wanted to provide the same gift to others. Originally from Sweeny, TX, Dr. Woodard attended Brazosport College and Houston Baptist University for his undergrad studies. He concluded his B.S. degree in Human Biology and earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Texas Chiropractic College in 2013. During his tenure at TCC he enjoyed having the opportunity to work with all types of patients from infants, children, our Nations military, EMS first responders, and seniors.

With his passion for sports and physical medicine, he participated in several extended, voluntary rotations. During these rotations he had the privilege of working with elite level athletes including: The Houston Texans, the Rice Owls, the local high school football standouts. He also participated in a preceptorship at NASA in Clear Lake, Texas on the state of the art preventative medicine and wellness program for NASA employees. Dr. Woodard practiced at Natural Health Houston the Houston area from October 2013- December 2015 but he wanted to venture back to his hometown. In January of 2016, Dr. Woodard made his début in the city of Lake Jackson at Ward Chiropractic Center. It wasn’t until then when he decided this was where he ultimately wanted to practice.

Dr. Woodard and his wife prayed about it and as of February 2017 God shined his light down on them and he had the answers to all of their prayers! Now Dr. Woodard and his wife Lauren are proud to introduce to Brazoria County and the City of Lake Jackson, Lake Jackson Chiropractic and Rehab Center. Dr. Woodard’s desired focus on sports injuries lead him to extend his training to become a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner (CKTP), as well as trained in Graston Technique. While these techniques provide accelerated healing of injuries for athletes of all levels, it also helps the “weekend warriors” and those involved in auto related injuries. Dr. Woodard believes patients are unique and different, and subsequently, should have a treatment plan that is customized to address their individual needs. Whether they are looking to get relief of pain or reach their optimal health and performance, Dr. Woodard is confident that he can help achieve their goals. Don’t wait any longer; let Dr. Woodard help you get back onto the field of life today!
